Menu Bars

Description

A menubar is displayed as a horizontal bar on top of a page, containing popup menus. A menubar is a mandatory item to a page. Menus can be opened using point and click actions or by using an optional keyboard shortcut. If no menubar is explicitly linked to a certain page, the default menubar will be used on that particular page.

Note

  • In many applications it is common to use keyboard shortcuts of the form <Alt> -‘single character’ to open a popup menu. For this purpose, you can insert an ampersand character (&) in the name of the menu.

  • It is not possible to make a page without a menubar, although

  • It is possible to specify a menubar without popup menus.
